hey people.
sorry havent been posting regularly.
haha.
ok here goes...
last night went with aiyan to watch Hai Sing Band in action.
almost got lost if it wasnt for aiyan's map.
hahahaah...yeah! MAP.
WE NEEDED A MAP TO GET AROUND TANJONG PAGAR.
hahahahaha! man it was hilarious!
aiyan's mum printed it out for her and made her bring it along.
THANK YOU!
did alot of walking and getting lost and meeting with dead ends until thank to my geniusity, we finally landed up in front of the singapore conference hall. yeah!
5 minutes into the concert, aiyan got bored.
O_O
so fast, she wanted to leave, i wanted to stare at the shiny trombone.
so fine, we stayed. because i was the only one who knew how to get back hehhehheh...
then whats aiyan to do in this tense situation?
she played games on her handphone.
and when she was tired of losing, she counted the number of bulbs on the ceiling.
(altogether there were 75 bulbs)
exhausted from counting, she took out the program sheet andddd...
JACLYNNNN!!! JACLYNNN!!! JACLYNNNN!!!
THERES SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS!!!!!
huh?
i grabbed the program from her and stared at it.
sure enough there it was. right smack at the bottom in black ink...
SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS.
mortified, shocked, surprised, gobsmacked, flabbergasted.
what the heck.
well, at least that made aiyan stay.
after the flute emsemble and stars and stripes,
just as they began to play somewhere over the rainbow from the much loved wizard of OZ movie, a bunch of people came out dressed as dorothy, the scarecrow, the lion and the tin man.
and they passed out sweets.

aiyan told me to keep the rest of the sweets after she had passed the whole lot down to me.
what the...
thank god i didnt listen to her, the guy next to me was staring.
then, the whole crew of them went to the front of the stage and linked arms.
then they began to sway to the music.
aiyan and i roared with peals of laughter.
it was damn funny.
thats not all, when it came to the spongebob squarepants song,
the guy playing 1st trombone took a mike and crowed into it,
"ARE YOU READY KIDS?! I CANT HEAR YOU!!"
and the sec ones screamed out the answer.
then the whole gang of sec ones came out and with the characters from wizard of oz, they linked arms and circled round the audience.
O_O. thank god we didnt sit there.
whats more is that, 3 seconds into the song,
the door opened and this cardboard came out.
spongebob.
in all his yellow pantsy glory.
they drew it horribly.
aiyan kept screaming that she could draw better.
hahahaha
i need not say more...hahaha.
but damn was it funny.
vanessa you should have come with us. HAHAHAHAH.
